Responsibilities: The Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL has an opening for a Radiation Oncologist to join our practice. This position is open to an individual at the Associate Professor or Professor level who has demonstrated both clinical and research expertise. The successful candidate would participate in clinical patient care, teaching residents and medical students and participating in departmental and inter-departmental conferences. The opportunity could also allow up to 50% basic science lab research time.
Mayo Clinic is an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center with unparalleled support for clinical and translational trials. The Radiation Oncology Department at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida maintains state-of-the-art facilities. The current department encompasses 20,000 square feet and includes 10 clinic exam rooms, 3 Varian linear accelerators, Gamma Knife, Mobetron, HDR afterloader, GE lightspeed simulator; Eclipse treatment planning and ARIA information management system. Full access to all advanced modalities of diagnostic and nuclear medicine imaging for treatment planning and follow up.

50 radionuclide administrations per year
