University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, Department of Radiology has a vacancy for one year ACGME accredited fellowship in Nuclear Radiology starting in July 2018.
The training program focuses on all aspects of nuclear medicine, including general nuclear medicine, PET/CT, PET/MR, and nuclear cardiology. The nuclear medicine service offers comprehensive radionuclide therapies, in which trainees participate, including I-131, Ra-223 Xofigo, Y-90 Zevalin, and Y-90 microspheres.
The fellow in Nuclear Radiology is exposed to a full spectrum of diagnostic imaging with state-of-the-art equipment, including 5 PET/CT scanners including digital PET and a PET/MR scanner. University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center has access to a cyclotron and is operating a new human use PET radiopharmacy for the development of new molecular imaging agents.
The fellowship includes clinical work in nuclear medicine, PET/CT and PET/MR imaging, routine nuclear medicine examinations as well as more challenging nuclear medicine studies, including correlative imaging with SPECT/CT as well as research, and teaching. There are weekly conferences covering all aspects of nuclear medicine, weekly seminars and a weekly journal club.
