Nuclear Medicine Technologist Per Diem, Days, 8 Hours Mission Hospital Mission Viejo, California
Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, performs and documents quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a timely manner as ordered by the physician. Supports supervisor and radiologist in carrying out their duties that in turn contribute to an effective an efficient Nuclear Medicine department. Promotes positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other employees demonstrating teamwork to ensure excellent patient care, esprit de corps, and positive comments form all concerned parties. Consistently demonstrates behaviors that model the St. Joseph Health System core values and the hospital’s mission statement.
Minimum Position Qualifications: License / Certification: • CNMT and ARRT(N) upon hire • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR) certification
Preferred Position Qualifications: Education: • AA degree (nuclear medicine) and or two years experience in a hospital based program. Participation in continuing education program.
Experience: • Two years hospital experience as staff technologist.
License / Certification: • ACLS to meet American College of Radiology Requirement
