The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences within the Emory School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member to grow its magnetic resonance imaging research program.
Areas of desired expertise include advanced acquisition strategies and image analysis in diffusion tensor imaging, MR spectroscopy, CEST imaging, and MRI-guided delivery of therapies or devices to the brain, spine, and other organs. Candidates should have experience in developing clinical imaging techniques and have a record of collaborating effectively with radiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, as well as engineers and other scientists.
The successful candidate (PhD, MD/PhD, MD) is expected to establish an independent, innovative, extramurally-funded imaging research program and to effectively contribute to the research, teaching and service missions of the Department of Radiology and imaging sciences at Emory University. Candidates should be at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level and possess a portfolio of academic accomplishments related to magnetic resonance imaging research and experience developing innovative and successful research programs.
