The Department of Radiology at the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position in the Division of Nuclear Medicine. The position involves clinical, teaching and research activities, including training of nuclear medicine and radiology residents.
The Division of Nuclear Medicine is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including PET/CT and SPECT/CT. The nuclear medicine program also includes active Radiosotope Therapy Program. The division is very active and it clinical service covers a wide scope of nuclear medicine cardiology oncology and neurology. The Division is seeking an individual with multimodality experiences and provides abundant opportunities for research and innovation.

Along with patient care, the resident receives training in the fundamentals of radiologic medical technology, nuclear physics, radiation biology, radiation protection, and computer applications. Residents also receive basic science training in physics, instrumentation and computer science, radiopharmaceuticals and protocols involved by attending the five week Basic Science Teaching Course in Nuclear Medicine.
