The New York University School of Medicine of the NYU Langone Medical Center (NYULMC) invites applications for a faculty position as a Nuclear Medicine Physician or Nuclear Radiologist.
The Nuclear Medicine section of the Department of Radiology seeks a full-time faculty member with clinical experience in general nuclear medicine and PET/CT to support clinical service, education and research in hybrid imaging modalities including PET/MR, PET/CT and SPECT/CT. An ideal candidate will have extensive clinical skills in PET/CT, research experience, and strong interest in PET/MR.
The NYU Department of Radiology is known for its strong faculty and infrastructure in clinical radiology and research. In addition to a state-of-the-art PET/MR, the Department operates 7T and multiple 3T magnets that support an advanced research team of physicians, physicists and engineers.
The department recently opened a world-class cyclotron, radiochemistry laboratory, and microPET/CT facility to complement existing infrastructure in clinical radiology and research MR imaging. A new multidisciplinary group, convened to advance multi-parametric PET/MR research, includes world renowned leaders in the field. Applicants are expected to join this team and contribute significantly to the advancement of PET/MR technology and applications.
Qualified applicants must be ABNM or ABR certified, or eligible for certification.
