Our Radiology Technologists are responsible for supporting both our Inpatients and Outpatients. We serve a diverse population and sees all types and ages of patients.

We are a non-profit, 20-bed Critical Access Hospital which includes, a Rural Health Clinic, a 50-bed Long Term Care Unit, a 17-bed Assisted Living Facility, and on-site Daycare. As a Radiology Technologist, you need to know how to:
Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters and transmits images.
When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Prepares equipment and supplies.
Manage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports and files are correct.
We hire people, not resumes. However, we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) - (RDMS) and (RVT) certified preferred or ability to obtain within a year.
Each Technologist needs to be able to operate the CT machine, Portable X-Ray, General X-Ray, C-Arm, and Ultrasound (with vascular); if not currently performing these modalities the Technologist is expected to accept training.
BLS certification required (CPR)
Ability to interact with people of all ages; therefore, the employee must have excellent communication skills.
