The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia is currently seeking applicants for a full-time practicing physician to join our Nuclear Medicine Division, which is an integral part of a dynamic, full-service, clinical and academic Radiology Department. Nuclear Medicine scope of practice includes general planar imaging, SPECT and SPECT/CT, PET/CT, nuclear cardiology and radiopharmaceutical therapies. The Medical College of Virginia Hospitals has 822 beds with a Level 1 Trauma Center and an NCI designated cancer center (Massey Cancer Center). Busy clinical responsibilities are complemented by excellent teaching and research opportunities.
Applicant should be Board Eligible/Certified in Nuclear Medicine with experience in the full scope of Nuclear Medicine services. The applicant must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment. Candidate must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA. Appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.
