Ensure mammography services are provided to customers in a manner consistent with high quality, cost effectiveness, reflecting the latest technology and contributing to a positive community image, which is consistent with the goals of Good Shepherd Medical Center. Performs mammography examinations in a manner consistent with the Policy and Procedures of the Medical Imaging Department as requested by the ordering physician. Operates mammography equipment, prepares exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for the requested exams. Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
ARRT License (or its equivalent):
Texas Certification: desired
High School Graduate (or equivalent) Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program Certification in Mammography
6 months of clinical experience desired.
