Abrazo Scottsdale Campus (located at AZ-51 and Bell Road in Phoenix) is a 136-bed full-service acute care community-based hospital which has provided excellent comprehensive medical care to patients in the northeastern region of metro Phoenix for more than 30 years. Abrazo Scottsdale Campus provides specialized services such as an accredited chest pain center, wound care and hyperbaric (high pressure) medicine, advanced orthopedics featuring navigational technology and sports medicine, expanded rehabilitation service enhanced diagnostic imaging, and dedicated women�s programs. Provides patient care support services in the Emergency Department under the supervision of an RN. SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills, knowledge of basic medical terminology required. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: - One year of experience in as a nursing assistant; or in lieu of experience, - Current CNA certificate, or LNA licence from the Arizona State Board of Nursing; or - Completed block one/first year of nursing school; or - Current EMT-B certification; or
- Completion of formal PCA/T/ED Tech education program from an accredited institution. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Six months experience in a hospital or emergency room setting as a Unit Secretary, EMT or CNA. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or meet minimum experience requirements; CPR. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), CPR.
