Ensures the quality of care in the use of radiation producing sources to include the protection of patients and staff from radiation. Calibrates all radiation therapy equipment and implements procedures to ensure quality control for equipment. Provides technical supervision to Physics staff.
M.S. or Ph.D. in physics, medical physics, or other related fields. Able to read, write and speak English.
5 years of clinical experience preferred.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Certification or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or certification by the American Board of Medical Physicists in Radiation Oncology
