The Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications from academic hematopathologists with a research interest in hematopoietic or lymphoid disorders for the Diagnostic Laboratory Section of Hematopathology. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

In addition to providing diagnostic services to support strong clinical programs in hematolymphoid disorders, the successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain a program in translational research.
Significant investigative and diagnostic experience with state-of-the art molecular genetics of hematolymphoid malignancies is required for this position.
Candidates for this position must have an MD or DO degree, qualify for a license to practice medicine in Illinois, and possess specialty certification in hematopathology.
